Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before renting baby gear from our company. By making a reservation and renting our equipment, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions:
Rental Period and Equipment Care:
a. The rental period begins at 11am the date specified in your reservation and ends 4pm the date of return indicated. Returns after 4pm will incur an extra day rental charge.
b. It is understood that renters will not alter the state of repair of any equipment, including the disassembly of any standard full-size cribs.
c. The renter shall keep and maintain the equipment in good repair and immediately notify us of any damaged or faulty parts.
d. The renter assumes all risks inherent in the operation and use of the rented equipment.
Equipment Return and Damages:
a. Products must be returned in the same condition as received. Failure to do so may result in a fee assessed at the time of return, charged to the credit card on file. In the event that equipment is returned to us excessively dirty, such as with vomit or feces, or smelling of smoke, we will charge an additional cleaning fee of $50 per item.
b. The renter is responsible for the loss or theft of rental equipment and agrees to pay for any necessary replacements.
c. All accessories and parts must be returned with the equipment, intact and in proper working order.
d. Excessive damage to the rental equipment, beyond normal wear, will be repaired or replaced at the expense of the renter. Our team will notify you via email if damaged, missing, or excessively dirty items are found and inform you of the retail value to be charged to your card on file.
Car Seat Policy:
a. It is mandatory for clients to disclose any motor vehicle accidents that occur while using our car seats.
b. A minor crash is defined as meeting the following criteria: the vehicle was driven away from the scene, no airbags were deployed, no damage occurred to the door closest to the car seat, no visible damage to the car seat, and no injuries to any vehicle occupant (including soreness). If all the above criteria are met, car seats from the specified brands (Britax, Cosco, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Safety 1st, and UppaBaby) can be safely reused or rented. If the above criteria are not met, the car seat needs to be removed from our inventory, and the renter will be responsible for the cost of replacement.
Reservation and Payment:
a. Reservations can be made through our website.
b. A valid credit card is required to secure the reservation.
c. Payment for the rental period is due at the time of pickup or delivery.
d. Additional charges, such as delivery fees or security deposits, may apply and will be disclosed during the reservation process.
Liability:
a. Our company and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the use of the rented equipment.
b. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold our company harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from the rental or use of the equipment.
Cancellation and Refunds:
a. Cancellations made prior to the rental start date may be eligible for a refund, subject to our cancellation policy.
– Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to the rental date receive a full refund.
– Cancellations made 30 – 15 days prior to the rental date receive a 50% refund.
– Cancellations made 14 days or less to the rental date receive a 25% refund.
b. Refunds will be issued according to the original payment method, minus any applicable fees or charges.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
b. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
By renting baby gear from our company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
