The Britax Convertible Car Seat accommodates children from 5 to 65 pounds and up to 49 inches tall. Rather than starting as a rear-facing seat, you can use it in either rear-facing mode with the infant insert or forward-facing for bigger children.
The ClickTight® installation system makes securing the seat quick and simple. You open the door, thread the seatbelt, buckle, and click it closed. This process ensures a proper and safe installation every time.
When installed rear-facing, the ReboundReduce™ stability bar attaches to minimize movement during a crash. You must remove it when the seat faces forward. This feature adds an extra layer of safety.
The Britax Convertible Car Seat features a SpaceSaver™ design. Its 17-inch-wide seat fits three across in most vehicles, which helps families maximize car space. Although Britax cannot guarantee a three-across fit in every vehicle, it maximizes room without sacrificing safety or comfort.
The infant insert properly positions newborns weighing 22 pounds and under. The 5-point harness distributes crash energy evenly, keeping your child safe.
Other features include the patented V-shaped top tether, which slows forward movement in a crash and stows away when not in use. Easy-read level indicators and a 6-position recline help you find the best fit for your child and vehicle.
